Palazzo Tamborino: Originally built in the 1500’s, this stunning Palazzo has one of the most beautiful secret gardens in the historic center of Lecce. It’s walled, circular structure, complete with a bamboo forest, ancient climbing bougainvillea, wisteria, roses and an orange grove, is a tranquil green oasis, hidden behind the imposing front door of the palazzo. Upon entering the palazzo, the neoclassic colonnaded atrium gracefully leads you to the centuries old gate. All events include a tour of palazzo with guide, where the story of Fulvio di Costanzo, Prince of Colle d’Anchise,who tragically murdered his wife Lady Beatrice in 1636, is told.
