Extra virgin olive oil from Puglia has never been so closely followed in all its various qualities and uses. You will harvest the olives side by side with the local farmers and follow the cold-pressing in a historic family-run olive press. A visit to a small farm which produces sott’oli (food preserved in olive oil), where there will be a tasting session of local products, which enhance the scent and flavour of the Apulian extra virgin olive oil.
From the vineyard to the table, a tour which encompasses every phase of wine production. You will be led by an expert sommelier in the discovery of the techniques of growing vines and processing the grapes in the cellars, where a guided wine tasting session will be accompanied by typical regional foods.
Visit to a dairy farm, located in an untouched and almost out of time area. The sheep graze Mediterranean species in a protected park, giving a unique flavour to the milk and cheese. You can visit the farm and learn about the cheese production to end your tour with a delicious tasting.
